Procedure for Restoring access to WMID
WebMoney Transfer allows to restore lost keys file (for WM Keeper Classic users) or certificate renewal* (for WM Keeper Light users):
- You will be charged fro restoring access to your WMID. Fee is set up individually for each WMID (from 1 to 5 WMZ).
- To restore access to your WMID you need to register new WMID or use another existing WMID, belonging to you. You need to provide this WMID for contacts when applying for restoration. All information and updates on restoring access will be sent to this WMID.
- WMID Access restoration procedure starts from applying for the access restoration. Application should be sent only by the WMID holder personally only. Applications, sent not by the WMID holders are not processed. When applying for the restoration, you will be requested to verify your identity, right to own the WMID, causes of access loss, last transactions, current balance and other data.
- Every Application is given a unique reference number. You can view the status of the Application online (WM Login is required).
- Fee for WMID Restoration is payable only after it is being finalized and WMID was restored successfully. While the application is finalized, all Purses from the lost WMID are automatically blocked from cash-out. The WMID holder should pay the fee and remove the blocking personally (appropriate instructions are sent via WM-mail).
- Upon applying for access restoration the applicant should provide verification documents (passport/id copy and application form) to the verification center. Documents should be provided:
- Either personally to the verification center manager in Moscow. Please, confirm time and date of your visit with the manager. Business Hours: 10-30 – 17-30 Monday to Friday.
or:
- By mail to A. V.Romashev, PO Box 130 107140 Moscow Russia. Application form should be notarized at the Notary Public. The notary verifies an applicant signature. Underaged (minors) should verify their signature ONLY in presence of a parent or a guardian. Please, provide contact details or a business card of the notary public (full name, address and telephone number, in the international format) and attach it to the application form.
In some cases, depending on the WM Passport type or current balance you can provide verification documents online to key@wmtransfer.com (please include a clear photocopy of the document). List of required documents is step up individually for each WMID.
- Restoration procedure takes approximately from 10 to 20 working days and depends on completeness of the documents provided, status of the current WM Passport, current balance. Verification Center leaves itself a right to prolong the verification at its own discretion and forward provided data to the WM Arbitration Service for further review.
- Upon completing Restoration procedure
- WM Keeper Classic users will receive (to the contact WMID) new keys file and a password to enter the Keeper.
- WM Keeper Light users will receive an URL to renew the certificate and a password to access Keeper.
- For the sake of security, when receiving new keys file WM Keeper Classic users are recommended to change the keys and a password, as well as keys file name. You need to store the file in a secure place and create its backup copy on a removable media (usb flash, memory stick, cd, etc.) If your mobile phone supports Java or use a PDA or pocket PC, you can use Enum Storage service. If your personal certificate has expired, but not lost you need to send a *.pfx file to wmlight@webmoney.ru from an e-mail , used during the registration in the System. Provide your password and WMID. If an-email arrives from a different e-mail address please provide reasons of doing so and a password, used during registration. If you prove you right to hold the given WMID, a link to the new certificate will be sent to your e-mail address.
